The LMS 8th Grade Girls Basketball team claimed the LC8 Championship in dramatic fashion, defeating Keystone 32–29 in an intense overtime showdown. Under the leadership of coaches Meaira Williams and Greg Thomas, the team showed resilience, composure, and determination when it mattered most.

The championship game was tightly contested from start to finish, with both teams battling through regulation before LMS pulled ahead in overtime to secure the title.

Londyn Causby led the charge with an outstanding performance, scoring a game-high 17 points and setting the tone offensively. Katia Moore added 9 crucial points, providing steady support throughout the contest, while Alivia Simmons contributed 6 key points to help seal the victory. Ayla Green, Avi McIntosh, and Sa’Mirrah Brown also played key roles in the win, making important contributions on both ends of the floor with defense, hustle, and teamwork!
