Oberlin High School is ready to make history as the OHS Girls Flag Football program officially begins its season. Competing in the Western Division’s Orange Division, OHS will face a strong lineup of schools including Amherst Steele, Avon Lake, Black River, Cloverleaf, Elyria, Elyria Catholic, Marion Harding, Medina, Midview, Oberlin, and Sandusky.
This season marks a groundbreaking opportunity for Oberlin High School. OHS is one of only two schools in the LC8 Conference to offer a girls flag football program, placing the school at the forefront of expanding athletic opportunities for female student-athletes.
The program is proudly sponsored by the Cleveland Browns, whose support and belief in local schools have helped make this opportunity possible. Their investment underscores the growing momentum of girls flag football and its impact on empowering young athletes.
As the season gets underway, OHS is excited to represent the community, compete at a high level, and be part of a historic movement in high school athletics.
