Oberlin High School is proud to announce that freshman Keira Phillips is headed to the State Bowling Championship after an outstanding performance at the district finals!
Keira delivered a remarkable three-game series of 598, earning her a second-place overall finish at the district tournament. Even more impressive, she was the first non-team qualifying individual, securing her place at the state level through her individual performance.
For a freshman to compete — and excel — at this stage speaks volumes about Keira’s focus, consistency, and competitive drive. Throughout the season, she has demonstrated poise beyond her years, and her district performance was a true reflection of her hard work and dedication to the sport.
Keira will compete at the State Championship on Saturday, February 28th, in Columbus at HP Lanes.
We are incredibly proud of Keira’s accomplishment and look forward to cheering her on as she represents Oberlin on the biggest stage. Congratulations, Keira — your community is behind you all the way!
