For the second year in a row, the SPIRE Academy echoed with the cheers of the Oberlin faithful as the Oberlin High School Girls Indoor Track team claimed the OATCCC Division 4 State Championship. This historic "repeat" cements the Phoenix as a powerhouse in Ohio indoor track, while a strong performance by the boys' team rounded out a dominant weekend for the program.

The Dynasty Continues
Coming into the meet with a target on their backs as defending champions, the girls’ team showed no signs of pressure. Driven by elite speed and veteran composure, they successfully defended their title, outperforming the best in the state to bring the trophy back to Oberlin for the second consecutive year.

The championship was built on a foundation of several standout performances:

Olivia Hudson captured the individual state title in the 400m Dash with a blazing time of 57.29.

The 4x200m Relay team took 1st Place (1:42.86), showcasing the depth and chemistry of the Phoenix sprint squad.

The 4x400m Relay team also climbed to the top of the podium, securing another 1st Place finish (4:10.00) to seal the team victory.

Alyssa Webb and Cayman Noble provided crucial points in the 60m Dash, finishing 3rd and 5th respectively in the finals. Noble also added a 4th-place finish in the Long Jump.

Boys Power into the Top Five
On the boys' side, the Phoenix proved they belong among the state's elite. Competing in a highly contested Division 4 field, the Oberlin Boys placed 4th overall.

The highlight of the boys' meet was a gritty performance by the 4x800m Relay team, which secured a 4th-place finish with a time of 8:44.60. Their top-five finish contributes to one of the most successful combined indoor seasons in school history.
